A letter from the founder, Taylor.
White Stag is a solo operation run by me, Taylor Barnes, a former personal brand evangelist for venture capitalists, writer of stories ranging across fiction, brands, and concepts, and the sole curator-guardian of narrative systems for the incredible people I work with.
I fell in love with language at an early age, carrying me all the way from my English Literature degree, to braving the waters of teaching myself the craft of copywriting, marketing, and brand by leafing through Ogilvy’s best advertising pieces. I scrapped, grew, shaped, and learned across startups large and small, from businesses like Meta, Nike, and Revolut, to tiny, yet ambitious companies who defied convention.
I approach every project with the intention and tenacity of an art piece. I have no desire to serve people who don’t believe in their work, and I have even less desire to work with people who don’t care about where their venture will sit within the next century.
I’m ruthlessly competitive—and my most important promise to clients and collaborators is the weight behind this.
